Mike Pastir promoted to Fertilizer Product Line Manager

Mississauga, ON – We are pleased to announce that Mike Pastir has accepted the position of Fertilizer Product Line Manager for Agrico effective September 26, 2016. Fertilizer Product Line Manager is a newly created role that is the product of a recent restructuring of Agrico’s supply and distribution functions to improve operational performance and better serve our customers.

Mike’s primary responsibilities will include product marketing and supply coordination in Eastern Canada and United States. He will report to Agrico General Manager, Bill Wilford. Mike brings to this role a great understanding of our ag-retail customers, based on his past experience with NutriAg Ltd, and, more recently, in his position as Agrico Account Manager for the past 5 years. In addition, his extensive on-farm experience, both in his personal life and professional career, will help us gain a better understanding of how we can structure our offers to help our customers provide value-added solutions to the grower.

Mike is currently enrolled in the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP) in Guelph, which is a highly regarded 19 month executive development program that provides him with keen insight into leadership, agriculture and the food industry from domestic and international perspectives. Mike’s background, experience and infectious enthusiasm will serve him well in his new position.
