Tim Baelde promoted to St. Thomas Terminal Manager

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Baelde as the new Terminal Manager at Agrico St. Thomas Terminal following the retirement of Don Herries in March 2019. Tim will begin this role effective immediately and will report to D’Arcy Smith, Agrico Canada’s Risk/Operations Manager.

Tim is a graduate of the University of Guelph where he attained a degree with honours in Bio-Resource Management.    He brings a solid 6+ years of experience in operations/facility management; previously as the Assistant Terminal Manager in St Thomas, in addition to 5 years overseeing the day to day operations in a crop inputs retail business. With this experience, Tim has developed a strong background in risk management, loss control, environmental management, health and safety , operational budgets/capital planning and talent development.  

Perhaps most notably, Tim is a strong subscriber of the Operational Excellence model that enables Agrico to provide best in class products and service to our customers.
